Job Summary
The Business Solutions Architect II is responsible for the planning, designing and implementation of business applications. The Business Solutions Architects main role is to support organizational vision and goals with technical solutions and architectures using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or Marketing Management software (Oracle Financials, Salesforce, HubSpot, Acumatica etc.) or other application software. This role requires resources to be conversant in business process mapping, requirements gathering, continuous improvement, feature implementation and quality assurance testing. Also essential to the role is training & communication at all levels of the organization to facilitate adoption of new software and processes.
Responsibilities
• Gather and document detailed business requirements for processes, continuous improvement, data, security and reporting with regards to Business Applications.
• Develop and maintain business application road maps on a regular basis.
• Interact regularly with all departments and management to support strategic business initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and consultation for application selection, migration implementation and new feature adoption of all business software projects. Champion adoption and application usage to streamline organization operations.
• Provide hands-on support to migrate applications, resolve issues, track progress and contribute to expanding the knowledge base.
• Must be detail oriented, follow standards and thoroughly test all deliverables. Must possess an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and promote growth. Must use critical thinking to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and propose solutions
• Create presentations and spreadsheets to communicate findings. Must be comfortable presenting findings to a varied audience and in building relationships across the organization.
• Collaborate with other IT resources to ensure all hardware and software required by the business is set up and maintained properly. Ensure all documentation is created, available and kept up to date at least twice per year.
• Regularly find areas of improvement for data cleansing and analytics and reporting performance. Encourage a culture of data driven decision making
• Continuous learning is a must as well as staying current with business operations, internal systems, technology and industry trends.
Must have skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with the following technologies:
o Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP software i.e. Oracle Financials, Acumatica, etc.)
o Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
o Marketing Management Software (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
Preferred Skills/Experiences
o Acumatica, Oracle Financials or another Finance related ERP software experience
o Salesforce experience, HubSpot experience or another CRM software
o Microsoft Power BI or another Business Intelligence or Data Analytics software
o Microsoft Office – Excel and PowerPoint
o Cloud based application experience
o Azure DevOps Experience
